Update in preparation (draft, pending JDF legal review). The employer and applicant forms on this website now send your answers directly to JDF’s own secure records instead of Google Forms. Identity documents are collected at our office and any copies are kept in restricted, private storage that only authorised JDF staff can open. The policy below will be revised after legal review.

1. Who we are
JahJoy Divine Favour Ventures, also known as JahJoy DF, provides staffing and career-support services from Lagos, Nigeria. For privacy questions or requests, email joydivinefavourinfo@gmail.com or call +234 803 501 0916.
2. Information we may collect
- Contact details such as your name, email address, telephone number and WhatsApp number.
- Employer request details, including role, location, duties, working hours, pay range and preferred start date.
- Job-seeker information, including CV, work history, skills, qualifications, availability and interview-support notes.
- Payment and service records. We do not ask you to submit card or banking credentials through this website.
- Messages and documents you choose to send through WhatsApp, email, our website forms or a private document link from JDF, including identity documents, photographs, guarantor details and the location of your home where you choose to share it.
- Website-use information collected through optional Google Analytics after you consent.
3. Why we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess staffing requests, communicate with candidates and employers, provide purchased career services, keep service and payment records, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations, and improve the website where you consent to analytics.
4. Our reasons for processing
Depending on the activity, we process information with your consent, to take steps you request before providing a service, to perform an agreed service, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate business interests that do not override your rights.
5. Who receives information
We share information only where needed for the stated purpose. This may include a prospective employer or candidate, the secure hosting, database and private file-storage providers that run JDF’s website and records (to be named here once JDF approves them), Google Analytics if you accept it, WhatsApp or email providers used for communication, and professional advisers or authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Before sharing a candidate's CV or detailed profile with an employer, we seek the candidate's permission or otherwise establish an appropriate lawful basis. Employers must use candidate information only for the relevant recruitment purpose.
6. Cookies and analytics
The site stores a necessary preference in your browser so it can remember whether you accepted or declined analytics. Google Analytics remains off until you select “Accept analytics.” If accepted, Google Analytics may collect device, browser, approximate location and interaction information such as pages viewed, scrolls and outbound-link clicks.
You can withdraw or change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website. You may also clear site data in your browser. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
7. International services
Some providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements intended to protect the information under applicable data-protection requirements.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, follow-up, recordkeeping, dispute handling and legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and why it was collected. In particular:
- If you tell us you are not interested, or you choose not to continue with a request or application, we delete your details within 2 weeks. You are welcome to start a fresh request or application later.
- If an employer request has no activity for 6 months, we contact you to ask whether you wish to continue. If not, we delete it.
- Records linked to a payment, agreement or placement are kept for JDF's accounts and legal obligations, then reviewed for deletion.
You may ask us about the period that applies to your information.
9. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to reduce accidental loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online service or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
11. Children
Our website and career services are not directed to children. A parent or lawful guardian should contact us before providing information about anyone under 18.
12. Other websites and services
Links to WhatsApp, Google and other services take you to platforms with their own privacy practices. Review their notices before submitting information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows the latest published version.
